Alex has spent the last 14 years as a professional photographer, shooting a range of subjects from architecture to events but most of all people. Capturing people in the moment is what motivates Alex and what inspires her to be a photographer.
She qualified as a Licentiate of the British Institute of Professional Photography in 2019 after submitting a portfolio of black and white photojournalistic images. Although she enjoys taking portraits, her true passion is to capture events as they unfold.
Her dream project would be to photograph the Tour de France as a photojournalist, capturing all that happens behind the scenes as well as the action of the race. Away from the camera Alex is a keen cyclist choosing to ride road and gravel depending on the season.
